Starting as an acoustic singer/songwriter (with Midlane, Head Down and TBBTS) Midlane developed his sound into something more rock orientated (Fleeting Pleasures and Sophrosyne Faltered) with influences such as: Foo Fighters, Bob Mould/Sugar, Tom Waits and The Wildhearts.
